Reader's block

Have you ever had it? Does it actually exist? If it does I think I have it and it's so annoying.

I've got 3 books on the go at the moment plus a few other newies on the shelf;

• John Peel's autobiography
• On Beauty - Zadie Smith
• History Boys play script - Alan Bennett

All fantastic however I read a page and my mind wanders and I end up reading the same page over and over and I'm getting nowhere very fast.

Pointi suggested I may have too many books and that could be the problem. Maybe I'll tuck some away out of view when I get home tonight.

In music news - I finally got myself an el-cheapo mini stereo today so I can play all my 2nd hand CDs, maybe that will help my reading along. Life without my iPod is not getting any easier.
