Terrorists, EMO, Fabric & my little toe

***

No doubt you’ve all heard:

‘A plot to blow up planes in flight from the UK to the US and commit "mass murder on an unimaginable scale" has been disrupted’

It is thought the plan was to detonate explosive devices smuggled in hand luggage on to as many as 10 aircraft.

Police are searching premises after 21 people were arrested. Home Secretary John Reid said they believed the "main players" were accounted for.

High security is causing delays at all UK airports.

The threat level to the UK has been raised by MI5 to critical after the arrests in London, High Wycombe and Birmingham.

Critical threat level - the highest - means "an attack is expected imminently and indicates an extremely high level of threat to the UK".

Three US airlines are believed to have been targeted.

Total: 21 people arrested
London: 'Majority' of arrests - exact locations not known
Birmingham: Two arrests
High Wycombe: At least one arrest

Our friends Kat and Cheyne were due to leave for France today, along with Cheyne’s mum. I spoke to Kat briefly before she arrived at Stansted Airport this morning, we are yet to receive any further updates from them.

Terrorists – bugger off, seriously. No one likes you and I’ll be extremely cut if you prevent my beautiful friends from getting away on their much deserved holiday.

Soho Square was swarming with EMO juvenile crusties this morning – why I’m not exactly sure, maybe Slipknot are in town.

Without a doubt the most gender-confused breed of all music devotees. What cracks me up is they have this deluded idea that they are viewed as ‘misunderstood’ when really we understand them perfectly. Snotty little rich kids with too much money to spend on make up and hair salons (the boys more so than the girls surprisingly) with ear problems as they truly believe they are listening to good music…

Medical report: closed my little foot in the darn door this morning – I couldn’t even swear I was in that much pain. I had to wear my flip flops to work as no shoe would sit well over this throbbing mess.

If I can’t wear my new designer £7 boots to Fabric tomorrow night I will be extremely upset, and I'm pretty sure High Contrast will be too.
